After School Care

After-School Care is supervised by the following staff:

Carla Alo - Carla was born in Cebu, Philippines.  In 1995 her family immigrated to the USA.  They moved to Idaho via New York City, New Mexico, and Japan.  Because Carla liked the pace of Idaho, she decided to stay.  She graduated from Boise High School and in 2010 from the University of Idaho with a major in communications studies.  In Tacoma, WA Carla volunteered to teach underprivileged children in an after school program.  In 2009 Carla volunteered to teach English as a second language to Sudanese refugees in Egypt.  She hopes to further her education to become a social worker.  For fun, Carla enjoys reading, photography, as well as playing her guitar and ukulele.

Robin Hewitt - Robin was born and reared in Clayton, Delaware.  She and her step-father were commercial fishermen and crabbers on Chesapeake Bay.  In school her favorite activities were singing, Animal Science, and Art.  Her hobbies include, but are not limited to, drawing, etching on mirrors/tiles, cross-stitch, knitting, crocheting, riding horses, country line dancing, karaoke, reading books, and playing online computer games.  She coached a little league soft ball team many years ago and also taught 4-H children how to show and ride their horses for the State Fair and local competitions.

Katie Kruschek - Katie was born and reared in Nome, Alaska.  During high school she played volleyball and worked as a lifeguard.  Katie is currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Health Sciences at BSU.  She plans to attend medical or optometry school after she graduates.  She hopes to work in pediatrics.  In her spare time Katie enjoys reading and spending time outdoors.
