Lysandra Scott
Primary Co-Lead Teacher - Caspari Early Childhood Certification

Lysandra joined the Rose Hill staff in August of 2011.  Lysandra's love for Montessori education began as a child.  As the daughter of a Montessori teacher she grew up in a Montessori environment developing an appreciation for the method and materials and a love for learning which have stayed with her into adulthood.  Lysandra received her Early Childhood Montessori Certification from the Caspari Montessori Institute in 2009.  She has taught in a Montessori school since 2008.

Lysandra grew up in rural southwest Montana.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Montana.  She spent 2 years with an AmeriCorps program on the Mississippi Gulf Coast helping refurbish homes and revitalize communities devastated by Hurricane Katrina.  Although she traveled and lived in various parts of the U.S., Europe, and Central Asia, Lysandra always felt most at home in the Rocky Mountains.  She and her husband, Cody, moved to Boise in 2008 to be close to the mountains and rivers they both love.  She spends her fee time rafting, snowboarding, and hiking in the foothills with her dog Ace.

Lysandra loves sharing her passions and love of learning with young children.  She is also an amateur musician.  Besides years of teaching experience she brings to the classroom her guitar, singing, and love of music.
