Our sincere Gratitude to our Rose Hill Families O Past Events May, 2010 Friday, May 14 - Fiesta de Mayo - 6:00 pm - Spanish program by all students, Ice Cream Social, & PTO Silent Auction (please have your children in their classroom by 5:45 to line up for the performance) Wednesday, May 26 - Field trip to the Foothills Learning Center - leave at 8:30 am, return around 10:30 - Carpoolers needed April, 2010 Wednesday, April 14, 6:45pm - 8:00pm - Open House for Early Childhood/Primary Class Every Wednesday through the 1st week in May, Judy Bush comes in and teaches folk dancing to the Kindergarten Class - This event is sponsored by the PTO - Thank you PTO! March, 2010 Parent-Teacher Conferences - Please sign up in the classroom February, 2010 Friday, February 12 - Valentine's Day Party in the morning Monday, February 15 - School Closed for Presidents' Day Every first Wednesday of the month a representative from Capital Educators Credit Union comes to collect bank deposits from the students. Tuesday, March 2 - Elementary Open House (grades 1 - 6) from 6:45 - 8:15 pm - There is no formal presentation, just students showing their own families some of the activities they do every day in the classroom. Anyone interested to see and learn more about the Montessori work on the elementary level is invited to attend. December, 2009 Tuesday, December 8 - Kindergarteners are going to see the musical "Annie" at Nampa Civic Center - leaving at 8:30 am - tickets paid for by the PTO - please sign up if you can carpool November, 2009 Parent-Teacher Conferences will take place in November. Please sign up in the classroom for your conference. Tuesday, November 10 - Visit to the Boise Zoo to study Animals of Africa - Leaving at 9:00, Returning around 11:00 - Cost is $2/person, children and adults - We will go rain or shine. Most of the instruction will be inside and then we will visit the animals of Africa outside, weather permitting. All children are invited to attend that morning for the field trip. Please sign up if you can carpool. October, 2009 Wednesday, October 14 - "One Night in Frogtown" musical at the Morrison Center - Please sign up in the classroom if you can carpool - the PTO is sponsoring our attendance so the cost is free to students and adult carpoolers - we will need to leave no later than 8:45 am and all students need booster or car seats Wednesday, October 21 - Visit to the Botanical Garden for their Scarecrow Stroll and their pumpkin patch - leave at 9:00 am - cost $2 per child and $4 for adults - Every child will get to choose their own pumkin to take home. Please sign up to carpool is you can. Friday, October 30 - Halloween Party in the morning - All children are invited to attend that morning. Children may wear costumes to school. Please keep costume paraphernalia to a minimum and bring extra clothes to change into for recess. We will parade with costumes at the Heatherwood Retirement Community at 5277 Kootenai. Their van will pick us up at 10:15, but if every child attends that day we will need additional rides for 8 children.
